Early Morning Snack

We recommend eating any of the following things – 1 apple or 100 gm dry fruits. Also, you should always drink at least 500 ml water as soon as you wake up. Breakfast

Here, we cannot emphasize enough that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So, you need to consume a high protein meal along with necessary carbs and fats. Your breakfast should include 5 egg whites, one whole egg, a bowl of oats, 2 brown breads with peanut butter and a glass of juice. The juice will provide you the necessary sugar for the day and keep your insulin maintained.

Mid-day snack

Now, this one is an optional mini meal which you are allowed to skip if you are busy in office or something. This will not affect your diet plan adversely. For this snack, you can eat a couple of bananas and a glass of milk. You can also eat seasonal fruits like grapes, oranges, strawberries etc.

Lunch

Now, you must have always noticed that somehow the options for vegetarians seem to be always limited when it comes to high nutrition food. So, for lunch, you can have a regular meal comprising of chappatis/rice (preferably brown) with your favorite vegetable. Yes, you are allowed one meal of your choice and taste in the day. But make sure it’s not deep fried and definitely not sweet.

Pre-workout snack

Right, so now it’s time to hit the gym and somehow you feel all tired after working the entire day. Never go for a workout with an empty stomach. Because all that will do is put a negative effect on your body and that is not what we want. So grab a Greek yogurt or 2 bananas or even regular curd with 4 strawberries and you are ready to hit the gym.

Post-workout

So how is the perfect diet plan coming along until now? It is almost 7-8 in the evening and you have just finished gym. Your body is in dire need of nutrients. So, grab your protein powder and consume 1 scoop in cold water. Water helps digesting the protein quickly unlike milk, which is preferable for long and slow digesting.

Dinner

Finally, you have almost made through the day. And your perfect diet plan seems to be going well. Now, we are at the final meal of the day. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that even if you are very hungry after that out, refrain from over eating. Choose a salad, or roasted meat/cottage cheese or boiled eggs for your dinner. Avoid carbohydrates at all during this time of the day. Also keep in mind that you should have your dinner at least 3 hours before you go to bed.
